Project Rachel is a confidential ministry of the Catholic Church that offers hope and healing for women (and men) in pain from past abortions. We offer both one-on-one and small group opportunities for healing including:

• retreats
• support group
• Sacramental Reconciliation (confession) with specially trained priests
• counseling referrals
• Masses of Rememberance and Healing

Project Rachel offers an integrated approach to healing which addresses the multiple spiritual, psychological and emotional dimensions of abortion. Whether through a referral to Confession with a specially trained priest, participation with others at a retreat or support group, or through the guided support of a mental health professional or spiritual director -- those who participate in Project Rachel can find hope and healing from abortion by directly experiencing God’s great gifts of mercy and forgiveness.

We know it can be a very difficult to make a call to Project Rachel. Many women have told us they have were afraid to call either because they felt they would be judged – or, in some cases, because they didn’t know what to say. Be assured that the person who will take your call is trained to be compassionate and understanding. We know why you are calling and respect your courage in seeking help with this very difficult issue.  Our Project Rachel team recognizes that post-abortion healing requires a personalized and integrated response to many-layers of spiritual, psychological and emotional pain. We are committed to helping each woman encounter the love and mercy of God which Pope Francis reminds us “knows no bounds and extends to everyone, without exception”.
