For hope and healing after abortion

Living Well

Living Well is a post-retreat support group for continued emotional healing and spiritual development from post-abortion pain.

These ongoing monthly meetings are offered for women who have attended Project Rachel retreats in the past and would benefit from continued support in their healing journey. Each month a common theme in issues related to post-abortion healing will be addressed. Participants can join every month or on a “drop-in” basis when topics of particular interest are discussed. Living Well is not a therapy group with one-on-one therapeutic counseling, but rather a support group of women who are committed to growing in and sharing the blessings found in their Project Rachel experience. There is no fee to attend, although a free-will offering will be accepted.

Meetings will take place on the first Tuesday evening of the month, beginning in July 2009. The only requirement is that participants have attended a prior Project Rachel retreat and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the meeting site and any personal stories that might be discussed.

Topics will include “Continuing Your Healing Journey”, “Experiencing Mercy and God’s Love”, “Reconnecting with God, Church and Others”, “Coping with Grief and Loss”, “Reaching out to Others in Hope and with Love”.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Project Rachel Archdiocese of Boston – 508-651-3100 or help@projectrachelboston.com for more information.
